Hugh is head of our Corporate Recovery Department. He graduated from UCD with a BA (Hons) UCD in 1989 and was admitted as a solicitor in 1995.
Since admission, Hugh has specialised in Commercial Litigation and resolution of contentious matters in the corporate sphere. He also advises in relation to statutory interpretation and has acted in a number of civil judicial review suits (both for applicants and respondents), in various high profile insurance litigation cases and in commercial property and intellectual property litigation.
Hugh has advised Insurers on interpretation of policies, indemnity issues and acts for insured defendants in professional negligence suits.
On litigious matters, Hugh sees his role as seeking solutions to contentious disputes.
As part of his practice, Hugh is heavily involved in all facets of corporate recovery, and has acted in high profile liquidations, examinerships and receiverships.
